Individual membership
Individual membership is for engineers involved in the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of oil and gas pipelines.
Those applying for PIPE Individual membership need to meet standards of experience and qualification in pipeline engineering. An engineering degree, or membership of another professional institution, are not a prerequisite but will be a useful attribute.
This will typically mean either:
* two or more years work as an engineering postgraduate in some aspect of pipeline engineering
or
* five or more years working in pipeline engineering for those without an engineering degree or similar qualification
Individual membership benefits:

The annual fee for individual membership of PIPE is US$180 or GBP£120.
This can be paid online by Visa and MasterCard credit cards. If an invoice is required for offline payment of fees, please contact the secretariat.
Visa and Mastercard payments are supported by HSBC Global Payments; payments by American Express payments are in the process of being implemented

Refunds: Those applying for, or renewing, their membership of PIPE have the right to cancel their payment within seven days of their payment being processed. Under these circumstances, the payment will be refunded in full to the credit card used when making the original payment. To make use of this facility, please contact the secretariat in order to confirm your requirements.
