Welcome to the Professional Institute of Pipeline Engineers - PIPE

The PIPE is the international membership organization for those who work in the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of oil and gas pipelines as well as those with an interest in the development of pipelines for the transportation of captured CO2. The PIPE provides an essential network of contact and information exchange for its membership.

Oil and gas pipelines constitute the arteries of contemporary civilization. As long as the world uses hydrocarbons, an infrastructure will be needed to transport them and must be adequately maintained to prevent harm to people and damage to the environment. The PIPE promotes high international standards of pipeline engineering, operation, and environmental concerns.
